On June 10th, the Plant Empowerment Academy and World Horti Center will jointly organise two knowledge sessions on how Plant Empowerment and Digital Growing can help to grow more sustainably. In one and a half hours, you will learn more about the basic principles of Plant Empowerment. Afterwards, you will receive a copy of the book ‘Plant Empowerment – Digital Growing’. These sessions are primarily organised for international visitors, but Dutch visitors are more than welcome to join, spoken language will be English.
What is Plant Empowerment?
Plant Empowerment is an innovative way of growing crops in greenhouses. It is a data-driven cultivation method based on physiology and physics, leading to higher yields and better quality. In addition, it ensures the efficient use of nutrients, water, and energy. See plantempowerment.academy for more information.
Why knowledge sessions?
Many growers want to implement this new sustainable way of Digital Growing in their company but do not know exactly how or are still unsure about it. During the knowledge sessions, two of the founders and authors, Peter Geelen and Jan Voogt, will introduce you to Plant Empowerment and answer your questions. After this, you can start by studying the book and applying the principles in practice.

Afternoon session: 1:00 PM – 2:30 PM
