Cordaid

Cordaid is a Dutch international development and humanitarian organization that works alongside local partners in some of the world’s most fragile and conflict-affected regions. We support people in building healthier, safer and more resilient lives through programs in healthcare, education, food security, livelihoods, and peace and justice. When crises occur, we provide emergency assistance and help communities recover and rebuild. Our approach is based on local leadership.

We work with community organisations, businesses and governments that understand local challenges and are best placed to create lasting solutions. By combining local knowledge with international expertise and funding, we help strengthen systems and increase opportunities for people to shape their own future. Today, Cordaid operates in around 15 countries and works through hundreds of partnerships worldwide. We strive to create sustainable change and expand opportunities for the world’s most vulnerable people.
