Kas als Energiebron

The innovation programme Kas als Energiebron is working towards a climate-neutral greenhouse horticulture sector by 2040. The programme stimulates energy saving and the use of renewable energy in greenhouse horticulture. This helps the sector achieve its CO₂ reduction targets, while ensuring cultivation remains economically viable.

Glastuinbouw Nederland and the Dutch Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, Food Security and Nature (LVVN) are working together on this.
