World Horti Center is the clubhouse for the international greenhouse horticulture sector. Located centrally in the Westland area near The Hague, Delft and Rotterdam, it lies at the heart of the Dutch greenhouse horticulture sector. This makes World Horti Center the perfect place for your next event, meeting or conference.

Hold a meeting in one of our meeting rooms or a staff party or a company event in our events square. Or are you looking to organise a training course, workshop or conference, or even a drinks party or walking dinner? The opportunities are endless! Our dedicated events team will talk through the possibilities with you.

Rabotorium

The Rabotorium gets its name from its sponsor: Rabobank. This auditorium can be used for meetings of all shapes and sizes; whether physical, online or hybrid. The room has a total of 266 seats, but can also be divided up so that smaller groups can conveniently make use of the space as well. Also noteworthy in this regard is that besides a beamer, the room is equipped with two large TV screens, and you can make use of several microphones and/or a headset.

The Rabotorium is used by MBO Westland for their classes on Mondays and in the mornings. However, if you wish to book the room during one of these time slots, we can discuss what’s possible.

Online event

The Rabotorium is equipped with a professional, high-quality camera and audio system, allowing events in this conference room to be livestreamed. With several remote cameras, we can capture everything perfectly and there is plenty of opportunity for interaction with both the room and the online participants. To support the speaker(s), we also have a clock and viewer screen. All this is possible with technical assistance from our partner Generations.

Event Square

Where better to receive your guests than in a fully equipped event greenhouse?

The Event Square is the ideal location for reception, lunch, drinks and dinner. It’s situated at the heart of our impressive 1st floor. The square is located in a greenhouse and is equipped with a beautiful bar, seating and standing tables as well as a stage. Of course, the space can be decorated as you wish.

The Event Square breathes horticulture. Here, you are surrounded by inspiring pavilions and Identity Stands of our participants. From above, you also have a view of Vertify’s research compartments, where practice-oriented research is conducted into innovations in the sector.

Stage

On our green and inspiring Event Square, the stage can be used. A podium for informal presentations and meetings. The stage is also suitable for a thank-you speech or short talk during drinks or reception at the Event Square. Besides a large TV screen, there is also a sound system available with access to up to 4 microphones and 2 headsets.

In short: the perfect place for horticulture-related events, in the heart of our center, in a greenhouse, in a green environment!

Einstein

Meeting room Einstein is a spacious, bright meeting room right next to our restaurant. An ideal room for small to medium-sized groups to engage in a meeting, but also very suitable for presentations in theatre set-up to larger groups. There is a large TV screen with HDMI cable and camera, making it easy to let someone join your meeting virtually. The Einstein room can be divided into several configurations so that it is perfectly tailored to your wishes. A reception with coffee, tea, juices and a luxury cake? Or rather a breakfast session or working lunch after your meeting in the nearby restaurant? Everything is possible when booking our Einstein.

Nature’s Green Arena

The Nature’s Green Arena is centrally located in World Horti Center, right next to the restaurant. The wall of air-purifying plants provides a jolt of extra oxygen and energy to this space. This beautiful plant wall has been brought to us by NextGen.

There is also a large TV screen with HDMI cable and camera, making it easy to dial someone in during your meeting. Ideal for meetings, creative sessions and lunch gatherings with up to 12 people.

Westland Business Room

Right above the Nature’s Green Arena, we have another such room: The Westland Business Room. This space also has a wall with air-purifying plants which provides extra oxygen and energy. The high ceiling makes the room very light and spacious. The perfect place for meetings!

The Westland Business Room can accommodate up to 16 people. There is also a large TV screen with HDMI cable and camera, making it easy to dial someone in during your meeting.

Stamtafel

The Stamtafel is separated from the restaurant by just one door. The glass walls give you a nice view outside and make for a bright, open place to meet. Order a tasty sandwich or just have a cup of coffee. A large TV screen with HDMI cable is available. This room can accommodate up to 8 people.

Meeting rooms

Need a space for a quiet conversation, a brainstorm with a small group or are you looking for a workspace where no one disturbs you? The modern and bright meeting rooms Hertz, Bell, Tull, Sholes and Volta will suit your wishes. The rooms are directly next to the dynamic office garden and are fully equipped. For an attractive price you can use these neat and tidy rooms and for our participants they are even free. The Sholes and the Volta do not have a TV screen, the other three rooms do.
